A random collection of stuff about the place I live in, my family and other interests.
I live in Alresford, strictly, New Alresford, in Hampshire, a small town with a town centre that really works.
My family comprises Alice, Tim and their father, “the Professor”. Neither Alice nor Tim live at home any more, Alice works for BERG in London and Tim is a dancer with Carte Blanche, the Norwegian contemporary dance company. The Professor does live at home but is not a big fan of all this tweeting and blogging – he spends his life trying not to be contacted.
My other interests include cooking, mountain bikes, motorbikes, gardening and making things. The Professor doesn’t cook but makes up for that by eating anything I produce – mostly without complaint. We ride bikes, garden and do the Independent crossword together.
